Chairs with stove enamelled steel base plate, leg in conic stove enamelled steel; swivel seat in MDF and back in expanded polyurethane, upholstered with fabric.

The main purpose of the atlas collection is based on one single concept of legs in conic white and grey stove enamelled steel. Tables and small tables are developed with the same structure, on a round or cross base, with tops available in different shapes and dimensions, made of aluminium with laminate or veneered in different wood finishes including the new canaletto nut one.

The atlas system consists of various models. A collection of comfortable chairs including stools with different heights, with and without backrests, complimented by a wide collection of tables and small tables, available in different finishes. Together they furnish in a distinctive and functional manner, both home environment and contract settings.

Jasper Morrison

Born in London in 1959, he trained in the UK, Germany, and the US. His most important designs include those carried out for Üstra: his “Hannover Tram” won the IF Transport Design and IF Ecology ‘97 awards. In 1999 he was commissioned to design the complete interior of the Tate Gallery in London, and he was editor of the 14th International Design Yearbook. He has been working with Alias since 1992, and designed the atlas system and tagliatelle (2011) for them.

He lives and works in London and Paris.
